Prostate pathway service

Diagnostics Prostate Pathway service is specifically designed for men aged 45 and upwards, with a particular focus on the 45-50 age bracket. The pathway has been designed for early-stage detection, protection and diagnosis of prostate cancer. The service includes a personal consultation with Mr Jeetesh Bhardwa (Consultant Urologist)followed by a PSA exam (a blood test used primarily to screen for prostate cancer) this test amongst other key elements will help you by ensuring the best course of action for optimal prostate health.

Patients will initially undergo a non-contrast MRI scan in a state of the arts 3Tesla scanner at the Opus Clinic, the results of scan will then be reported on by a specialist radiologist {Dr Amish Lakhani}. Based on the results, Mr Bhardwa will then discuss the report with you and advise on the next step.

These steps could range from an all-clear with a follow-up date to be agreed on, an advanced PSA test or even a contrast-enhanced MRI for further investigation (additional charges apply).
